grass blades, located at the harrison street turnaround north of EMP at seattle center.  designed by john fleming of rohleder-borges-fleming architecture, the 110 laminated steel reeds are 30 feet high and ½- 1 ½ inches thick. the thickest sections are at the bottom and the blades are meant to sway with the wind to create a graceful, organic design using inorganic material:  47°37'19.76"N, 122°20'55.10"W
